Dine Out CMUC

This Lent, as part of our focus on hospitality, we are organizing Dine Out CMUC!

What’s that?

During the two weeks from March 20th to April 2nd, the Canadian Memorial community will get together in one another’s homes to break bread, share a meal, and deepen the relationships that make this place so special. Some folks will volunteer to host and cook, and others will sign up to attend. It’s a chance to do as Jesus and his disciples did: build community over food and lively conversation.

I’ll host a dinner!

We invite you to sign up to host (and cook) a dinner for CMUC folks in your home. You let us know what date (between March 20 to April 2nd) works for you, how many people you can fit, and what dietary requirements you could meet. In fact, to sign up to host we’ll have you fill out this form, and drop it off in the office. Hosts will be reimbursed for food costs (up to a max per/person). Dinners will be BYOB.

If you’d prefer, you can pair up to host and cook. Just get the form to Christine by March 8th.

I’d like to attend!

After Worship March 12th and 19th hosts and others will get to sign up to join a meal. The cost is a sliding scale $5-15, and will go to reimburse our hosts/cooks. Guests are invited to bring wine/beer to share, if they would like.
